i pot a red then i pot a colored ball, pot a red ball.... and so forth! (arcade pool)

ok....i was doing this then i went to pot a colored ball, then it ended my go. this happened not just once but 3 times over 2 or 3 days......i thought i was going insane...i thought perhaps i made mistake by potting color ball then color ball again.. but the person i was versing thought it was a bit odd as well!!!!

Did it hit the white ball in a random direction?

If so your shot time was up, if not, I'm not sure what has happened.

The game behaves the same way after a random shot and a regular shot. (feature which has itself already sparked off some debates)
So it can't be because of a random shot.

If I remember correctly, similar issues have already been reported, but I can't fund the threads back. I have no idea about what could cause this, but if it's a bug in the game, it's a serious one.

happened to me a once or twice times b4, I was on a break, after I potted a colour, it ended my break and says foul, potted wrong ball.

me too. 3 times today (in arcade)

iv only had it happen where it says i hit a pink for instance when i was on a red, but it also shows the pink ball at the top of the power bar, so i wouldnt say its the game making an error and ending your turn, its just it thinks you hit the wrong kind of ball

It seems that most of the bug reports talk about the pink ball... just 1 person told it was the blue ball. Maybe a point to start from to find the bug's source, Nick?

It probably is being addressed. As any software developer knows, intermittant problems can be the hardest to track down and quite often can be the case of looking at the right place at the right time. These sort of things are notoriously difficult to reproduce, especially as it is rarely possible for the user to exactly describe the circumstances of an occurance.

Aye, same with me, its because you aren't expecting anything out of the norm to occur, so don't pay that much attention to the circumstance.

With me, a similar thing happened, then the game froze, it said it was my go on my opponents screen and his go on my screen... so neither could take a shot.

Exactly, it is pretty easy describe what happened and what happened next, but can you remember what happened before or, for example, what the exact time of day it was or how many shots each player had taken up to that point? In a lot of these cases, unless you know where the actual bug is it is difficult to know what information is important. I've been there so many times and its probably one of the most frustrating things about troublshooting software (and the most satisfying when you finally find it).

This just happened to me on the black so I don't think it's restricted to the pink.

sorry i can't give those exact details.. but i know the 1st and 2nd time it happened i was on the brown ball, the 3rd time i was on the black ball

Seems to be a bug that effecting everybody
