I was wondering if there was any chance if on the members profile there could be a tracker of how far in the match the member was in the match and how many points are scored
for example:
doctor_who's game (Arcade)
1 red left
51 - 27
this would help to see how far the member was if you were going to invite them to another game
this would prevent you from having to interupt players when they are playing asking for the score and how far they are

Seems a decent idea, ideally, this wouldn't be required if you could just watch a game after it had started, but you can't so good idea.
Tis only a minor thing though.

I think it would cause lag as it would be updated almost constantly, otherwise, i'm sure the rankings pages would update whenever a high break was made instantly.

I'm sure you are right there, as the game server would have to update the main web site for every game in progress, thus dramaticly increasing load on the game server.
Also, the problem of allowing you watch the game after it has started was explained a while ago by Nick (I think - can't locate the thread at the moment) as being that your client does not know where the current location of the balls are and so can't correctly display subsequent shots.
However, it could be possible, perhaps, to at least update the score (and maybe even the 'balls potted bar' on the left) so as to obviate the need for the 'watcher' to request updates from the players.

Sounds like a good idea but tbh Nick has too much to update atm.
I think this could probably cause a tiny bit of lag but lag nonetheless...
I personally dont think its needed as you can just enter the game and ask how many balls are left, whats the score etc etc.
But see what others think first
