Is there anyway that like in normal play that if an opponent leaves during the game you can resume your break til it finishes? I was in a tourny game and got to 47 on an easy black then my opponent left.. not moaning but just a querie

Ive experianced this.

It really spoils it when the break just stops when the person leaves instead of carrying on.

i agree but i think this got put into place because when your opponent leaves the tournament has considered that you have already won the game therefore if it lets you carryon with the break you could be Disqualified from the next round because the system already thinks you have won the game.

i see, but i just dont like it, please can it be removed, surely nobody is stupid enough to ignore the "players have 1 minute to complete their games" warning. its easy just to miss!

It was suggested in another thread (might even have been my idea, can't remember ) to have the break automatically carry on, but finish when that one minute warning appears.

That seems like a fair compromise?

just happened to me - was on for my first cent - and bad loser left - totally unfair
