As it says in the title, is this possible, similar to not being a newbie in one class to be able to post, can we do the whole apply to be eligible to play in tournaments. Its one of the most annoying parts of the game being drawn against a newbie who has literally just signed up and is unbeaten & unknown

Tournaments are for all types of ranked players, not just the one's you see fit. And on the unbeaten and unknown part, they aint unknown obviously. As 95% of them had a previous account.

When you where a newbie would you like it if you got banned from tournaments? I doubt it very much.

But as you know jeezy you get people who set up an account just to play in a tournament and then when they lose delete it again and no offence but they are unknown to everyone other than mods as to who they really are.

It's just part of the game pal. There aint alot that can be done about it. Nick cant exactly stop people from signing up... else no one would be able to join the site. All i can suggest is that if you cant stand playing the fake newbies, dont join the tournament game. It wont make a loss on your account, because you will get DQ.

Im a newbie and need experiance in what playing in a tourny is all about, although I have played in many on funky pool!!

A bit unfair to ban newbies from tournys I think!!

Genuine newbies come to the site and find they can't play in a tournament. That really what we want? No. Also, i see no reason you have suggested to ban newbies from tournament. They have as much right and choice to enter a tournament as everyone else. Is it because you lost to one? happens all the time. Anyone can beat anyone on this site depending on how the frame goes.

It wouldnt be absalutely terrible if they ban newbies. As it would be a priveledge not hard to play 100 games. Just like it is for posting abilities.

However all points above are true and you should go into a tournament game open minded and play as hard as you can regardless of the player however hard it seems.

I see both sides and no i didnt lose to one if you look i have won both tournys i played in today and beat "fake" newbies along the way. I just think once played hundred games apply for tournament rights. Its just my opinion

Nope. Anyone can take part in a tourmament and may the best player win, regardless of how old the account is. If they have a main account and they win, then they have failed to add to that account's stats so its their loss. Just because the account is brand new doesn't mean they don't have the right to test (and be tested against) the rest of the FS playing community taking part at that time.
