has anyone ever played a shot were the ball is tight to the cushion and your playin it down past the middle pocket to the top or bottom bag... because quite often when i play this shot i get a kick off th middle bags jaw and the ball ends up in the middle of the table or other side, suppose its the same for everyone but correct me if im wrong but that doesnt happen on a real table ?

If a ball is on course to go into the far corner pocket, it shouldn't hit the bump of the middle pocket en route.

It does go in, ive done it a couple of times, but next time don't leave ya self that shot

Yeah its never happened to me like where the middle has got in the way...

it depends what speed m8 - on a real table, the edge of each pocket has a very slight lip on it - thats how a ball can sit for 2/3 secs and then drop. if you hit the ball slow enough it could catch the edge of this enough to put the ball off course slightly therefore hitting the knuckle of the pocket........if you hit the ball extremely hard, and just slightly off, or with side and just slightly off, then the object ball could veer enough to catch the knuckle......

on a "real table" it is a very difficult shot to play for the above reasons.
