ok, so for a few days now when im playing someone in a gmae and they speak to me i cant see there name come up, so when i have multiple people in the room i havent got a scooby doo what people are writng.... why is this

lol, this is true, steve always asking who says what, in 10 man killer it is complete chaos, this needs sorting, lol

Normally users' names are written before the line they wrote. Could you post a screen shot of what you see when people write, so we can see why you don't see the names?

how the hell u do that

If your open your game window and press 'prt Scrn' usually found next to f12

Then open up paint and right click 'paste' then save the image

Then you can go to www.imageshack.us

When you open that webpace theres a box on the right saying 'browse' next to it click browse go to the saved image then press upload then a list of 5/6 links will apear get the 1 that say 'general link to image' (or something on them lines) then we can look.

I think this is a problem on some Java versions 1.4. They do not render the clickable text in the chat area (player buttons and links).

Downloading latest Java from http://www.java.com should fix this for you.

I've been considering showing a warning sign recommending upgrading for Java version 1.4 as the animation is poor on this version as well (only 3.5% of users use this).

I suggest you do put that warning, as Java 1.4 is really outdated anyway. Java 5 is already 4.5 years old...

just checked i do have 1.4 2_03 or sumin, so ill get updating

ok, so i have just downloaded this version 6 update 13, 1.6.0_13. came onto the game and its all different, like the lay out and that looks very different... i like it,

most importantly it did actually work and can now see what people are writing lmao...

Great, you should find the animation is smoother too.

You can switch back to the same look as you would have been using on version 1.4, select "Black metal" - but I personally prefer the default scheme with round buttons.
