FYI I was talking with an Everton fan at work the other day, and he keps referring to 'the other half of Mersey' as Murderers and Murderers Fans haha

Per Mertesacker to Arsenal.
That guy is one huge unit, will be in my fantasy team if he does sign. Heading God from corners!
About as mobile as an articulated lorry sadly for Arsenal fans though.
Davide Santon signed for Newcastle, he was once tipped to become one of the best full backs in the world when he was at Inter. Fallen a lot since then, good move for him and Newcastle I think.

Stoke have failed in an attempt to sign new Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan, Press Association Sport understands.
The move fell foul of Premier League rules, which forbids a player being lent to another top-flight side during the same transfer window that he joined his parent club.

He is 10x better than Crouch and 10x cheaper, gutting!
I would imagine he would of done very well, being as tall and as strong as Drogba, unlike crouch who is tall and incredibly weak.

Liverpool FC have tonight confirmed that they have reached agreement with Evian Thonon Gaillard for the transfer of Christian Poulsen.
The French side have now been given permission to talk to the Denmark international.
Get in. He was officially the worst player to wear the Liverpool shirt.

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Uruguay international Sebastian Coates on a long-term contract.
The 20-year-old completed his transfer from Nacional after passing a medical and securing a work permit earlier today.
Coates will now link up with his international teammates ahead of their friendly in Kiev on Friday night.
Now big rumours Adam Johnson will be at Melwood tomorrow. Hmmmmmmm

He's actually not as slow as everyone thinks, his top speed at the 2010 World Cup wasn't bad at all.

^ Interesting, though not a huge fan of that top speed thing as last season it claimed Andy Carroll was our quickest player, which I just cannot see. Obviously not the slowpoke I thought he was though.

Bellamy on his way to Melwood apparently.
Have to say delighted with how our transfer window has gone. We have shifted on 23 players, cut the wage bill significantly and every signing has so far made an impact bar Doni.
So far today we have shifted Cole, Poulsen and Ngog is on his way.
Hopefully more to come in and out yet!
