i think people who have played under 10 games shouldnt be allowed to enter the tournament in which they have under 10 games played in. if you get what i mean this prevents newbies who dont know the rules playing... very annoying

Agree with James on this mate,
Tournaments are there for a bit of fun. You dont loose any rank for being in them. And if you win, you get a nice little stat on profile.
It wouldnt be fair if we excluded certain members. If players dont know the rules. Direct them to the help center or explain them to them.
Anyway, if they dont understand how to play, gives yourself a better chance of progressing. You wont get someone in the final who doesnt have a clue what to do, Unless they have been very lucky through byes. Which doesn't happen.

not saying newbies in general.. maybe even 5 games played before entering a tourny... like how newbies have to meet a certain criteria to post on the forum... would be nice to apply that to tournaments

If they dont no the rules post them the link to how to playu and just beat them 5-0 makes no different just like me playing you, i miss every shot and you win 5-0 doesnt make a difference

the reason i bring this up is because i played a newbie who didnt know the rules in a tourny before... he hit and hoped on every shot and got lucky (winning the game).

OJ,
Still mate its unfair to exclude players to a tournament. You got a bit of bad luck. It happens.

Im not being funny but it has happened to the best of us.
All i can say is "swings and roundabouts" you win some, you lose some, but you live to fight another day.

You draw a newbie and lost because he aint an actual newbie. Would the outcome have been different if he was a virtuoso for example? No. its the pick of the draw, it happens.
