Sure this got brought up mid 2008 but i think it needs a re-think...

Click overall and I'm sure there is 3 tables, that quite bare! How about introducing overall Centuries? That could get people to move around the games a lot to get into top ten etc...

Or maybe overall 147's? Just anything to add to the fun

Yeah I think overall cents and halfs would be a good addition.

I also think we should have a max overall score on our profiles just as we have for the individual games.

I agree with both idea: max overall score and overall centuries should be added to the overall tables.

Seriously though great idea but I think (if I remember correctly) the rationale for not including them originally was that Killer and Carom (which may be included in overall eventually) do not have cents or halfs. Also the Max Overall would mean that Arcade maxes would be overshadowed by Regular and Original cents which regularly exceed 107. The first argument doesn't actually hold water to be honest, because tournaments are included and there are no Killer Tournaments.

So apart from the Max Overall problem, I'm all for it.

By max overall I meant highest rank rather than highest break if that makes sense.

Apart from that because the ranking factor is different for each game I am pretty certain that the stat would have little meaning (but I could well be wrong, I usually am)

I forgot half centuries being included. As mentioned above that would also be a nice stat to look at overall.

Very valid point Dave, so i don't see any reason why it shouldn't be included in overall. Also by my calculations i top the list of having the most cents overall, i think i might even have the most cents overall even if you take away Regular and Original but let's not big myself up now eh

In that thread, Buddy, Nick seems to be saying they don't record Max Overall so anything on the profile would have to be an amalgamation of other max scores.

What i'm saying is we should actually record the highest overall score acheived.

Perhaps we are talking at cross purposes, and if so I apologise (was a very long night last night), but if the data isn't currently stored (the current overall is calculated as an average of the current rankings) then how can a table on the overall page be implemented? If Nick were to start recording that data for each user it would not reflect the true Max overall but the maximum since such-and-such a date. The ideal time would have been when the new ranking system was introduced at the beginning of the year but wasn't and the historic information simply doesn't exist. Don't get me wrong, I am in favour of the idea were it to be possible and according to Nick it isn't
