I have thought of an idea, not great and not bad. How about when your opponent is taking the shot, you are waiting for him to finish, you will be able to use the spin whilst he is taking the shot. Don't get confused here, I am trying to say in order to get ready for your shot and make it go quicker, be able to adjust your spin straight away. Post your thought people!

Is it really needed? Just hover your mouse over the spin ball if your that desperate to take the shot, pretty pointless if you ask me.

Even in a 10 second game you have enough time to click your 'spin' and then take your shot.
Plus you need to know what shot you have first before you can decide what 'spin' to use if any is required.
Not the greatest of ideas, and wont be implemented into the game im afraid.

Exactly, based on what position the balls are in when you finally get your turn, by probability, your gonna need to change the spin anyways.

Might be interesting in real life to get out of your chair and start your cue action as you walk to the table before the balls have stopped moving
Can't think why the professionals haven't thought of it before

Well that has totally "blazed" your idea.
On a serious note, i think it is a bit too far fetched for me.
