Im not really sure how this all works but is there a posibility that Membership of clans could influance a moderators behaviour?
I dont know what exactly a moderator does but it strikes me that there is a reason that the judicary ly outside the legal system!
discuss!!

you saying that the mods protect members of their clan and are free from punishment themselves?
i am going to regret saying this but i have heard of people being hassled in certain circumstances by certain mods (which shall remain unnamed ad infinitum) to tell them why and which mod was reported for improper conduct as a mod

I believe that Moderators are more akin to the police in that they are enforcers of the the rules. As such, they are subject to the same rules as much every other member on the site (in fact, to some extent, more so because they 'should know better'). To say that some nepotism has not and will not occur is of course naive (moderators are human too) but I'm sure that it is rare and dealt with appropriately.
To be honest, I can't see the point of this thread as it only invites people who feel that they have been 'hard done by' to have gripes and moans and make attacks on moderators who are not in their circle of friends or clans. The forum is definitely not the place for this sort of thing and I think you will find the thread being capped fairly quickly
Edit: typo

spot on as always. Moderators are here to help keep the site family friendly. We have to follow the rules just like everyone else and i can see this getting capped quickly as well because there no need for this thread.

Moderators are subject to the same rules as everyone else on the site, and the role of moderator is one that all the staff take very seriously. The role is not just about moderating the site, but also entails setting an example to the site members in regards to conduct and behavior.
If anyone feels that a moderator is breaching the rules, or abusing their position, then they should use the “contact us” function on the site to raise the issue with the appropriate staff. Further information regrading site rules can be found at the following......
