Anybody watching? I saw a bit of this yesterday. Jess Ennis of Sheffield is still in the lead in the heptathlon, and Usain Bolt is looking just as good as at the Olympics.

She hasn't done anything to purposely cheat the system, it is a woman who has an unusually high testostorone levels, which apparently gives her an unfair advantage. I think thats ridiculous, but I suppose it is a question of sex or gender.

i never said she did anything to cheat the system, i said many people have done so, use of EPO in cycling, and long distance horse racing etc so cheating is fairly common place.

if they did not do the gender tests they would not know whether she had unusual levels of testosterone or was taking performance enhancing drugs

with all the drug taking in professional sports its no different to a normal test.

you wouldnt be here defending her if she had to take a normal drug test.

The difference between a drug test and a gender test is that she hasn't gone out of her way to cheat, she was born thee way she was, all she has done is train hard to turn it to her advantage.

I remember in the parlaympics last year, that an irish footballer was banned from the competiton cos he wasn't disabled enough. :\

professional athlethes (cant spell the word) are subjected to drugs tests...... for example 2 footballers are randomly selected after a game for them....... is that not true??
