Well i was thinking about a killer idea.
This is how i think it would work.
Say maximum of 100 people enter, and them 100 people enter, then you could have 10 games, 10 people, but maybe not as many lives, until you get to a later round.
Round 1 - 1 Life.
Round 2 - 1 Life.
Round 3 - 1 Life.
Quater Final - 2 Lifes
Semi Final - 3 Lifes
Final - 5 Lifes
Or something along the lines of that.
But it could work like this also, the first 5 people out of each game, go out of the tournament, and the last remaining 5 go through to the next round.
So 50 people would be left going through to the next round, then another 5 people go out from each game, and the remaining 5 people go through.
So 25 people would be left.
Therefore leavong 5 games with 5 people playing eachother game.
Then 3 people from each game could go out, and the 2 remaining go through.
And the final, leaves a 10 man game of killer to determine the winner of the tournament.
It sounds a bit complicated but i think it will work

It's a well thought out idea and I like it but nicks said a few times the only way to have a killer tournament is to have it in the same set up as current tournys player1 vs player1 etc...

The only other way i could see a killer tournament working would be to have one giant game of killer? Although technically it wouldn't be a tourny, it would just be the one game with all entrants playing in it. And it might take a while if you have 20+ entrants. 10 man killer games take long enough as it is!

i imagine this is very hard to implement but sounds like a great little idea.
i run a killer tournament in snooker events every sunday night, and so far that has worked against the odds.

Nice idea.
But not a great amount of people play killer so it wouldn't be fun if less than 20 or so enter. And if it's a 10 man final, what happens if say 13 people entered?

I think for this, you should just put everyone into 1 massive game. But give everyone only 1 life, otherwise it could take agessss

my idea on it is....
maybe max 120 people allowed to join
round 1 - 3 man game - winner goes thru - 80 people left in
round 2 - 4 man game - winner goes thru - 10 people left in
final - 10 man game - winner wins torny
may be a little short but....its an idea....

good idea but this has been suggested many times before (myself included) and it got negative feedback
how do you know that someone will be on at same time and think how long this will take.

The problem is that the tournament code isn't compatible with games that aren't 2 player games.
So, if it was to be launched, it would be just be one on one games, which isn't much fun for killer.
Changing tournament code to work for multi-player games would be very difficult.
