i love it,

i always used to take the mik out of fishing then one day bout 8 months ago me n some m8s got some cheap stuff and went,

lmao , a total mess of a day, we couldnt catch a cold let alone a fish,

anyway after many experiments etc we found this little pond in the mountains and bang we had a fish, ok it was no bigger than my grandads ears but still well happy i was, lol

since then i got magazines etc, tried a few places and got more equipment, i still feel like an amateur but ive caught a couple of nice sized bream and a load of small pointless stuff.

i still like fishing with float to be honest but do try on the bottom now an then, i know this is best method but i like having the float.

the best thing about fishing for me is that i go with my m8s and ya can have a few beers etc, or wateva, good times, and its simply comedy, night fishing my m8s wasnt a good idea, specially wen one of them goes in after the fish himself, lmao.

lee when i get a car dude im gonna have to come fishin down ur way... conqoured my local lakes time for a new experience, n fishin wi u n ya m8s sounds like a reet giraffe lol


p.s- my trip to anglers paradise has had to be put off for a while

can some one put a picture of the type of rig they use on here at all ??

what rig would u like mate? a float rig which i use or a feeder rig (bottem rig as u call it)? And thanks reaper. Something differant to have a chat about.

Also reaper when are you doing anglers paradise.Got a brouchure off them and it looks like a top place.

i just like to know wat tactics other people use, whats worked best etc.


i am an amatuer but dam i love it.

i go fly-fishing at night during the summer for trout in a stretch of river "owned" by my fishing club.

its the most relaxing time ever, 3-4 hours of just the sound of running water, birds and the swish of my rod through the air (and the occasional sound of splashing water as i catch a fish)

whats the biggest fish out in a lake just a normal lake ?
