Dunno if and of you has noticed this one before, but in some cases when you're snookered after your opponent fouls and you get to make him play again, the button that appears for this causes your score to disappear as there is not enough room for both the player name and the score. This makes it almost impossible to work out how far you are ahead (or behind), and therefore whether you ought to make the game safe (if you're ahead) by snookering your opponent (by sending him back in if he'd be completely snookered) or whether you can play an easy escape if you can see part of the ball, maybe even attempting a pot.

Example:
guest000 19 clooneman 40
becomes something like
guest000 19 cloonema... <BUTTON>

Or if the scores were the other way around and I'm trailing, and I can see part of the ball, do I need to snooker him again for more points, or can I proceed to pot the ball and attempt a clear-up?

guest000 40 cloonema... <BUTTON>

Has anyone else noticed this? Please nobody suggest (as a solution) that you remember what the score was before the previous shot .

solution, deactivate and create shorter name
its not really something that happens all that often and has only happened me once or twice that i remember, and i generally keep an idea in my head of how far ahead or behind i am and know when im far enough ahead after each shot or how many points i need to get to have the frame secured.

to be honest mate i dont think it needs a deactivation. it is not there own fault with there name. there game should have the amount scored instead of there name or at least there score with abit of there name cut out. Please can i see a screenshot of this. There must be somthing someone can do about this. I wouldn't like to be a few in front with with the blac remaining and not no ing may score

No disrespect to deco about shorter name. It was just a quote i brought up

This is something I mentionned several months ago (although I am unable to find the thread now).

My suggestion (and a fairly simple solution, it seems) was to position the players' names and scores in the middle of the screen at the top, rather than on the far right.

This would solve the viewing issue straight away, and shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

Don't have any screenshot unfortunately, sorry... All I can suggest is that one of you players with a longer name play and see yourselves snookered after a foul, and you'll see then

how about if the position of the score was switched to the inside instead of the outside that would solve the problem too
