How come you dont have to select the colour u r going to hit if snookered you can hit any colour instead of having to name a colour.

Never have done on here. Imagine playing a 10 second game and trying to nominate, it's just hard. Not the most important rule anyway. Only affects in very few cases does this rule.

Another misinterpretation of the "funky" in funkysnooker.

It's got nothing to do with the gameplay, it's the fact that the game can be played on very old systems without too much hassle. That's what Nick said a while back.

I made a thread about this like last year and the responce i got from everyone was the site is called FunkySnooker we need to keep some things 'funky' because if all the rules in real life snooker were portrayed on this game it would make it boring..

Well everyone has told you wrong moyesyside. It is what i said. 100% sure on that.

It's not "lame", it's just impractical. You can't have every rule on this game. The foul and miss rule is the biggest rule which won't come to this site.

A possible "solution", if you are really that bothered about it dabest, would be to ask your opponent, before you start each frame, to nominate a colour before he plays a shot (if you think that the choice of colour is not going to be obvious).

Of course, there may be lots of players who will choose to ingore your request... especially if you play 10sec frames, where you barely have time to select spin before playing.

You could make all of your frames 90 seconds though ... then you would have time to discuss all variable before each pot.... just to make sure you abide by all of the rules
