In real life, or funky? I take it you mean funky.

I'm not that good so i dont have anything really. Shots should be played with a little less power than you think generally, and you'll just get the feel for it eventually!

Go on the table and just play spin untill u get the hang of it

Positioning comes along with the more games you play. Just keep playing, you get the feel for it really.

nail on the head, i think funkysnooker is simply practice,

the more your playing your more you will naturally approach shots and instinctively decide on your spin etc,

Ditto. Even at first if you have no idea, just regular practice will help you learn positioning. Good luck.

I was taught that in order to learn position...think 3 shots ahead at all time and wherever you want the white to finish is never impossible.

I think thats the line i was fed whilst paying £40 for a 2 hour session :P
