why is it when you are taking a shot and they clock reaches zero that an automanic shot is taken but when your opponent is taking a shot and it reaches zero it takes a couple of seconds to take an automanic shot

there is a time lag.

the instruction has to be received from their computer go to the server and then on to your computer.

it happens everybody
