go there and choose widescreen.

The effect you're seeing is due to setting your monitor in a resolution that is not correct for it. (Similar to setting your TV in widescreen for a normal movie.)

Right click your background, select properties, then settings and adjust your resolution.

Note, funkypool does not need a special resolution - while your resolution is incorrect every page and picture you look at would have the same problem.
