I tried to play on my ps3, it cant be done unless you download java into your ps3, which im pretty sure cannot be done, i may be wrong, but im not 100% sure..

Apparently you can...if you install Linux on the PS3.

bear in mind two things while reading my question

1) i have no PS3
2) i feel stupid asking

how would you play funky on a PS3? can you attach a mouse to a PS3?

PS3 has USB ports which you can connect a mouse, keyboard ect. to.

think the main man nick should answer this question.....no1 is 100% on weather or not it is posserble to play funky online on your ps3...be good if so

nick only comes online once in about 2 weeks, if that, even then he will probably not look at this thread so we could be a while.

its better to get some opinions from spinner, blutch or cuchulain who are experts at computing

I have read through some forums and they all say you need to install Linux on your PS3 in order to install Java.

To play online Java games on PS3 you need to install Java and you can't do that without installing Linux

It is possible.

All you need to do is create a folder on your USB drive called ps3.

Put the java installation file there. And install, If that fails, Then install java on your computer and transfer the files over to the usb.

When you try to open the game window - it comes up saying please install Java

before the latest ps3 update i had java on my ps3 i had it as i installed ydl or yellow dog linux as another os on my ps3 but the latest update dont allow other os to be used on ps3 now so i dont think there is another way u can get it
