nobody ever plays more than one game.... especially the higher ranked players...

what happend to a good old first to 5??

so some do play more than 5

it depends how good you are, if you can outclass them they will leave
if its tight then its more fun and should stay

I find this quite a lot on the game, they pick up a scraped win, and then leave really quite frustrating.

Back in the day it was different when most the players were great sports but now I guess..

Yeh and not even a gg most of the time.

Am I missing something here? Can we really turn rank points into pounds or something?

Just get on with it, it's also "disappointed", maybe you should stop worrying on only playing 1 game with someone and start worrying on your spelling.

If you care to look up the meaning of the word pedant you will see what I mean.

I know what it means, but spotting a spelling mistake doesn't make me pedantic at all.

Why are people suddenly making threads about absolutely anything at all? If someone doesn't want to play first to five, then they don't have to. Nobody is obliged to do anything on here. If people don't want to say 'gg', guess what? They don't have to! Just get on with it and don't let silly things bother you.

Hit the nail on the head!

There is a possibility to make games sets of frames rather than limited to just one.

Similarly to tournaments, when you create a game, you specifiy how many frames that game will consist of.

There could be an extra confirmation box for entrants "You are entering a race to 5 frames, do you accept YES/NO" so there are no excuses, and so long as the default is left at one frame, nobody needs use it if they dont want to.

Yeah that be good, its similar to the carom idea by upping the the points you need to get to to win i.e. Using a drop down box to select the desired points to win (5,6,7,8,9...).

Back in the day yea, playing first to 5 even 10 - cracking games, people are more worried about their rank than a good game!!

as for picking out my spelling error lol well, that speak volumes about that person!!

Ever thought that maybe people have to go and do other things and not sit at the pc and play loads of games with you? People can play as many or as little amount of games as they want with someone. Also maybe your not a good spots man or you play in a way that they don't like.

Like me personally, i hate people that always take low colors when a higher ball is available and gives better position.
