I'm not a moaner as anybody who knows me will witness '..........BUT
what are the odds of getting Carom in the Random Tourney.

Surely 1 in 4 ??????????
25% chance of reg/orig/arcade or Carom?

How come in approximately 20 rounds in this tourney I have got Carom 15 times and being utterly useless at this inevitably (well almost) go out.

I know I should practice and play more carom (got excited the other day and got a run of 4).


But it does seem weighted in favour of Carom?????

possibly orig as well it prefers to give the less popular games out to people

what ive noticed is all the people who dont know how to play carom get put in carom 1st round and we are always waiting ages for this 1 game until either one of opponents leaves or they get timed out.

I remember 1 time zac had 4 carom in a row in random and i couldnt believe it, i nearly swore that night lol.

i think the final weighs in regulars favour as ive been in about 20 finals (i think) and at least 75% of those has been regular.

I have just won my first Random Tourney and it was Carom in 3 of the 4 rounds (bye in the first) including the Final.

Maybe I should stop moaning.



However that makes it 18 Carom out of 24 rounds now ???????

Now as far as the thread, i dont enter much but i have had alot of Original and Carom...

I seem to get arc/reg in early rounds, orig in the middle then carom at the end.

And to demonstrate the true randomness, how many times have I had carom against you in the qf dgen? Must be 7 or 8 in about 20 tournies. Very random...

yeah i know, when we both enter, we meet in Quarters and its always carom, strange lol.

Well...

There are users that if a bye is given, always seem to get the bye (I am not favoured!).

And I always seem to get the worst draw but ovbiously i only remember th bad draws.

Plus I always seem to get Orig (my worst game type).

But what usually happens is, depending on my opponent, the game type will always be the trickyest, like say they are useless at all but arcade, it will be arcade or if they couldnt only really beat me at reg, then it will be reg.

Meh.

Maybe it chooses the game you have played the least amount of.

I had this once before. I got carom in every round and the final was orig and i lost it coz the guy kept putting me off.
