Try the following to reinstall Java:

To rectify:
- Go to control panel
- Add remove programs
- Remove all the java versions you see (there may be more than one).
- Clear browser histories including downloaded program files.
- Reboot (even if you're not told to)
- Then visit http://www.java.com for a new, clean, install.

could also try this

http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml

try them and let me know....

This happened to me i tryed to update java and took it off and put it back on but i did not work.In the end i reload my laptop and it woked perfectly

So try reload your laptop or p.c
