Just an update on the story, his agent and club say he is improving and the reports of him having a "mini stroke" are not from an accredited source.

Just hope that the illness is not as bad as a mini stroke and he makes a speedy recovery.


Never saw Stoke vs Newcastle was out with the better half visiting various members of the family, seems Newcastle have done it again though and fair do's to them, I just hope they continue their good form when they got United Everton City and Chelsea all in the space of 4 or 5 games haha! Would be great for them if they could get 6 points there!

Ok hungover review!

Start of the first half Newcastle went out wanting the 3 points stoke sat back like we expected a point!

Newcastle kept progressing and they were always going to score no doubt about it

At 0-1, Stoke looked even worse and Castle decided to turn the heat up and hammer Stoke, to which lead to the second goal i'm near enough positive that it was offside but they don't show replays at the game but 2-0 and I was happy we went in at 0-2 as it could of being alot worse!

Ok second half Stoke wanted to do something we started to create alot more but just there was no final ball the crucial bit was missing.

We finally get a penalty which seemed a definate penatly and Walters sloted it home! 1-2

Then for some reason the stupid stupid fool Referee gave them a penalty on something that was extremly minimal and should never of being given

To sum up, Newcastle deserved the win, deserve their current glory and once again their fans were absolutly magic probably the only fans I can never fault I don't know how many they took but for a Monday night kick off that's on telly, they did well

You need to watch the highlights Si, Newcastle's penalty was soft but Stoke's was very soft. If one shouldnt of been given then the other shouldnt of either, gutierrez was outstanding aswell, stopped absolutely everything, and what a free signing demba ba was. I swear some castle fan said on here they didnt rate him? Lol

I didn't when he first signed for us. The first few games he played he didn't make any impact at all. Now though, he's showing what he's made of. He can be amazing.

Same, I didnt rate him either. Both of the penalties shouldnt of been penalties but if he gives one he has to give the other

Not sure if I mentioned this last time, but he was awesome in Germany. For 3/4 of a season, him, Ibisevic, and some other guy were ripping up defenses for fun.

Even if he has abused Antop racially, there is no evidence that can be used in a court of law. You can lip read what he says, but thats never firm evidence as it isnt proof, its an estimation. So all this who har about banning him for life is ridiculos. Also, I have seen that if Anton Ferdinand presses charges and loses the case, then Chelsea will sue him and QPR for defamation of character and racial allegations.

So they have a slim chance of winning the case, of which if they lose they will get crippled.

I dont think its a massive issue. But then not many agree with my racism posts a few weeks back. Its something that exists, so just except it. As for the 5-3 game with Arsenal, I have never seen such a woeful performance defensively. Big massive gaps in a line of defence, marking was terrible, mistakes crucial and was a quite lackluster performance again tonight. I dont think Arsenal played well, Dont think they deserve much credit in all honesty, I think Chelsea deserve to be ridiculed for a very sub standard team instructions issue.

AVB is young, he might be glory hunting, for example with Luiz, its great that AVB has 100% protected him and he even made Luiz set piece taker for tonight, he missed a penalty and a shocking freekick and I think it was good intentions, but a very inexperienced decision. Fergie would of just kept him quiet for a game or two. Not give him the chance to redeem himself or make yourself look even more silly which is what has now happened.

I think AVB still has a lot to learn, he has the ambtion and determination but lets face it, his best position was chief scout, yes he done great with Porto but thats sunday league in comparison to the big time. He is try to wow everyone, prove too much in one season.

I have always said, without Essien, Chelsea struggle. I think its the case yet again.

With Terry not as good, Essien injured, Frank playing subsitute and Drogba not playing/performing - thats the whole middle of the squad affected negatively and Chelsea have always been a narrow team. = disaster.

Chelsea are terrible in defence at present. And got a terrible result tonight. Sure they will qualify. Id pick Alex over Luiz, and drop Boswinga, hes as bad as Santon is for Arsenal, Cant Defend.
