As it says on the tin really, can there be an option to , when creating a friendly, make it so only members can play?

Thanks

The main reason for asking this is i find that guests tend to leave for no apparent reason half way through a game much more than members and while them leaving adds a win to your stats etc,
I make a game because i want a game.

although its not a big change, i am in favour on this, even though i like playing guests they tend to leave if your on a high break, can get annoying if it happens consistently.

should be easy enough to implement too im guessing

Sorry to be a killjoy, but I am completely against this idea.

From my experience, masterful's comment that guests tend to leave for no apparent reason half way through a game much more than members is a gross generalisation.

Recently I have played several guests, with multiple frames for some of them (and none left if I was on a break).

As we all know, there are members who, for one reason or another, choose to play as a guest .... and some members are notoriously bad at leaving if the going gets tough. So, why be hard on the guests?

Some may be future members / stars... give them a chance to play quality players, just like anyone else.

Wouldn't mind this to be honest. But have to agree with Baff.

yeah obviously everyone isn't going to use this but it can't hurt to have it as an option for the people who do want it.

i can see where masterful is coming from and i can see where baff is coming from also.

The majority of friendlies are guest games anyway, they'd still get to play each other. Not much harm in having the option for it surely?

Though as i type i remember the option being there previously? So maybe it was taken away for a reason in the first place? I may be wrong

90% of my frames I play against guests.
They leave more often then registered players.
But who are the guests? Quite often I see very good players...acting as guest...leaving immediatly after missing one shot....would they also do this playing under there real username?
Still like playing guests...you never know how good your opponent is....afterwards....he or she is sometimes telling me his/her real name....
Also nice to introduce newbies (who really play it for the 1st time) to this addictive online game.

Keep the friendly guest gameplay in the air!

Do Me a favour, as I said I would like the have the option, you may love playing guests baff, but I dont, they are either amazing players who for some reason are not on their username, or they come and play and i dont get a decent game. ( Bear in mind i play carom, therefore if they are a guest who doesnt know the game, they tend to leave half way through as i said).

It was not a gross generalisation, I think your taking it out of context, its just in my experience, so thats why i would like this option, least by giving us the option everyones happy, as those who want to involve guests can, those who dont dont have to.

I have played against 7 guests in the last two days, 6 of them have left like 30 seconds into the game. Then i have played freindly's v members and they tend not to leave.

I think it needs to be put into place and agree with what masterful is saying..

seems to me there scared of leaving because your a mod baff

happens to us all, i remember a few weeks ago i had 10-15 guests joining my room to press no, sometimes same guest rejoining.

don't get me wrong, some of them are a delight to play, whether to laugh at their abuse or their good sportsmanship.

i will continue to play guests even if this gets implemented but at least its there if you want a decent game with someone.

Yeah I have to agree with masterful here. The majority of guests do leave during a game. I will even admit I leave when playing as a guest. I never intentionally leave when logged into my account.

When I was playing on here regularly, 95% of the games I played were friendlies. I would say at least 60% of the guests left during the game usually due to me being on a break during a game and they are on here to play not watch me spend 5 minutes making a break, so they leave. At least thats the reason I leave during a game as a guest.
