Hi, I have done a quick interim update to the FunkySnooker and FunkyPool Ranking Calculators, which had stopped working due the format changes to the web sites (same problem as blutch's add-on) and the new versions can now be downloaded.

The executable is available here:

As this is quick interim build, I have had to roll back to the Version 4.0 Graphics Library (to maintain stability) so you will still get the PNG error

Ooops, was that due to the game text name changes? I could look into adding an API which wont be changed by such updates.

Afraid so, but not a real problem Nick, things like that are just a simple change to the configuration file and take about a minute to do (in fact it takes longer to post that I've changed it than it does to do it )

Thanks Buddy, now i can detemine what my rank will be in Power after playing a certain rank, great stuff!

Its a clever app but I can't see myself using it very often. When I go on Funky Snooker I tend to just play who ever is available to play, so calculating the ranks for each game would be time consuming.

You may have already guessed that Version 5.2.1 is available which incorporates the Ranking Scale changes introduced in the new Tournament Update ( http://www.funkysnooker.com/thread/7540/new-tournament-competition-big-update/1 )

This is available from the usual stockists.

Now updated to Version 5.3 to incorporate the following changes ...

Newbie games reduced from 50 to 30 (FunkySnooker Only)
Match Type selection (so that tournament ranking changes can be calculated as well as normal ranked games) - Note: Friendlies are also included for completeness but is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

by the way bud if you like to update it nick brought out 8 ball arcade and pretty soon 9 ball arcade, should keep you on your toes a bit

I think it really needs a decent GUI. The functionality is good, but it looks pretty ugly. I can fix a nice theme up for you if you want?

And yeah James, I had completely forgotten about this lol. Thanks for the heads up about the Pool update, I'll add that in when I get round to finishing the graphics library overhaul. Message me if you want that included sooner and I'll pop it into an interim release for you as that will only take about 10 mins to do.

Just warning in advance that there will also be a 9 ball arcade on pool in the next week or so.
