I am considering whether funkypool and funkysnooker should be completely advert free for all premium members. (This was discussed recently at http://www.funkypool.com/thread/17004/premium-member-ad-free-forum/1 with the result being the removal of all animated adverts from web pages.)

I'd like to know from premium members whether they would greatly prefer this or are ambivalent about this. Also what would they like to be shown instead of adverts, for instance maybe quick links to certain other pages, or your stats?

I'd also like to know from members whether removal of all adverts will influence their decision process in purchasing premium.

Personally, i dont notice the adverts so it makes no real difference to me whether they are removed or not.

The ability to edit quick links to pages of your choice would be a nice option. Even to particular threads that individuals frequent a alot. They would need to be fully selectable though to the individuals choice
Are you thinking like a link to your facebook homepage(for example) or just funkysnooker links.

If the quick links were implemented, that would definetely sway my view to renewing premium.

Fairly ambivalent as the adverts don't seem to have any adverse effects for me. I'm not sure what would be a useful replacement as the amount of stats would be fairly limited, I presume, and most of the pages you would want quick links for are at the top anyway. I'm sure that there is something that is useful, but I just can't think of one offhand at the moment.
