I paid for my premium membership but there are still ads in the game room?
Any idea why this is?

Have you tried fully logging out and in? I mean logging out of the home page too?

Also ensure the following is ticked (it is by default):

Premium Window:
Choose whether you want the game window to open as an advert free window.

Ok i've ticked that box and the ads are gone now, thanks.
However, i thought the table size would be bigger? The tables still same size and now the table is just moved over to the left of the screen and i now have a massivle black 'patch' taking up a third of the screen so i think i'll just go back to having the ads lol

Would say i've wasted a tenner but i don't believe that as the site is free and it's a fantastic site and game so quite happy to pass a tenner on to you

On mine the table size is slightly bigger and it is central, with small black strips either side.

Seems like yours isn't quite right
