Just wondering, would it be possible to create an offline version of Funky Snooker that you can download onto your computer?

Main reason I'm asking is because it would be nice when my internet connection is down, for me to still be able to get some practice in.

Thoughts?

What difference does it make if your internet is up or down?

That would be like saying if you use your computer for anything without internet, then you have no life?

And I'm not talking about if it was down for a short amount of time, I don't have internet at all on my apple mac, so It would be nice if I could have an offline version to play every now and then.

You should grow up and go elsewhere with your childish pathetic comments.

Couldn't agree any more with all of this post.

Wouldn't have to be anything complicated, just the basic practice table would be sufficient for the time being.

yeah true, even if its just an arcade table to start with, or is it possible for all games to be a download so you can practice if your internet is down.

This would be a good idea to play with friends when bored also, as there isn't a multiplayer other than the practice room, so the option to play when internet is down would be a good one

I can see where Alex is coming from in the sense of if you are so addicted that you need to play whilst your internet is down... But I do find that if you have had your internet down for a long period of time, and you are bored to the back teeth, then maybe it would be ideal to have an offline version of FS.

I can see both sides to that argument, but I see no reason why an offline game could not work...

Maybe for that point.... There could be a bit of software to download that enables you to install it onto your PC so you can play offline... no server, no chat, just the game...?

And for the economic side... Nick could charge a small fee to download it... Always thinking of good ideas to make money for you Nick

Or even have the download exclusively to Premium members.

zacrh1no, you make a very good point with this also being a good way of playing whilst the server is down.

& Yeh boyler, downloading and installing onto your computer would be the way to do it. And obviously the chat box, and other in-game options would be removed.

So all you have would be the buttons above the table, allowing you to change your game type, table cloth & re-rack.

Making it exclusive to premium members would also be a great idea fernando. I'm sure it would encourage a few more people to buy it.
