Can someone explain this to me.

I was playing in the arcade speed tournament. I was winning 42-28 with only the pink and black left. My opponent was naturally trying to get a snooker. Then notice came up, Time limit 1 minute remaining but literally 1 second later another notice came up saying " both players are eliminated for slow play" What is that all about. i was winning, there was a minute on the clock remaining and my opponent was trying to get a snooker. Why am i eliminated. How is that my fault.

My point is the time did not run out. there was 1 minute to go.

Seems stupid rule to me anyway. Eliminate both players because opponent wont flag it when he has already lost.

The game was not completed when the time ran out, therefore you were both eliminated, seems pretty logical to me

maybe you should pot em a bit faster?

Your connection might have been slow, therefore the 1 minute warning should have occurred 59 seconds before, and then because of the slow connection, the 2 messages came up at once and you ran out of time...
