I don't know if anyone else has experienced anything like this but i do regularly... you have the cursor on one ball but instead it hits another ball which is close to the object ball... it's happened so many times to me i'm sure that i'm no always the one at fault.

This shot in the picture is similar to how it appears to happen to me. Does anyone else get anything like this?

definitely the black i would say i know its close to the red but cursor doesn't touch the red

should hit the black unless your mouse jumps a little when you click? mine does that most shots but with tight shots like that its a pain

On closer inspection (400% zoom) and also based on the fact that similar shots have had similar outcomes to the one described, I am not surprised it hit the red first. Depending on the angle of cue to object ball it slides past and hits another ball i.e the red

My bad... slight typo there

The red is closer to the cue ball than the black. Therefore I think that couple of mm nearer to the closest cushion is what might make it also hit the red before/at the same time as the black.

i think you will hit the cue ball, as its a foul if you hit any of the others .
