Hi there, I think the rule may need a bit of tweaking.

I was just playing in an Arcade Final and my opponent didn't take his shot in time and was given a random shot penalty, I was left snookered. He then banged in a match winning break. I felt pretty robbed that because he was at the loo I got punished for his mistakes. I know it could have gone the other way but wouldn't it be better to just implement what's done in Power Snooker across the board. Just a thought

I completely agree with you, but there have been loads of discussions on this topic.

this happens in killer also , sometimes the person 2 steps behind you plays a good shot and leaves it safe , then the next person in line leaves the game , the balls stay where they are and you are left with the shot

I think this is unfair as well

I'll beat spinner to it, just a bit more brief

The punishment is that your opponent loses control of their shot, they can do nothing about it. That is the punishment irrelevant of the outcome of that shot.

What makes you think that damee?

.... Could it be that that is the the usual response on all the other threads about this.

I would look for them but it seems the 'Search' button must not be working based on the number of threads that could have otherwise been avoided

Yes it is the response (by spinner usually that one!) for which I totally agree.

Well I disagree. In the snooker premier league there is a shot clock.

What is the penalty for running your shot clock to 0 before taking a shot?

Whatever it is should be implemented onto this game.

What we have at the moment is effectively someone like Michaela Tabb or Jan Verhass taking the cueball and whacking it about the table.

I'm sure that is not in the official snooker rule book.

I wouldn't mind her tapping mine to be honest.

Snooker balls, obviously.

Mike I only said what you was thinking!

Apologies for off topic! Too good an opportunity not to though.
