Its not a big issue. but just wondered if this was possible.
At the minute u can have private chat 1 on 1.. but is there a way it could be made possible to have say 6-10 people in the same chat. would mainly be aimed at the clans as they could use it when a few of them are online and all chat in same box. but could also be used if u have alot of freinds..

maybe a invite to chat box under the invite to watch box.. so still using the same chat system but for 2+ members.

and maybe in message section, you can type in a list of usernames, so that you dont have to go to everyone's account and retype it haha

lol thats a total different thing.. but i know wot u mean its a pain copy and pasting 10 mails. need a multi mail option. or a box that u can write each name in like sending an email to multiple people.

heres what i would like to see -

- Invite people into your PM (can be turned on or off in options)
- Message Multiple people in a single message (handy for fixtures)
- Tick Box so you can delete each message on a single click
- Sticky Messages so they don't get deleted after 6 months.

There are a few things to consider here:

Firstly is how send complaint worked, you would need a new complaint screen possibly with a drop down list of the people in the chat, otherwise it would send complaint on everyone.

Secondly how would invite to play/watch work? Would it invite everyone?

Thirdly how would you view the members in the conversation?

My solution to all 3 would be to change the buttons on the right when 3+ people are in the conversation to "view members", "invite all to play", "invite all to watch". Then when you do view members, a list of members is brought up. You can then click any member and the normal options come up, add friend, etc etc including send complaint. That to me is the easiest solution.

The final point is that you shouldn't be able to add anyone with private messages turned off, and a warning should come up if someone adds you to a conversation containing someone on your ignore list, or if someone adds someone on your ignore list to the conversation. There also needs to be a new box on settings for "disable adding to conversations" or equivalent (for fuzzy and others ).

Also agree that multiple offline messaging like email would be brilliant, especially for event runners, clan captains etc.

Any way to make it so when someone pm's you it comes up as a tab at the bottom of your screen instead of popping up and interrupting a shot?

I know it ain't related her much, and if you are gonna say turn pm's off while competing... nahhh I don't mind it just would be a tad better and help a few more people too.

Oh and I think I may have come up with this idea too but over on the other site. Great idea.

A bit of a problem with multiple offline messaging. It would encourage spamming from other offensive users. This would then be the major problem to all members, and the site would become prone to attacks such as that.

For me, this should not take a lot of work, as a few tweaks in the codes would do just fine. But what Nick thinks of it is another story.
