ive ben playing this all day ,i.e power snooker and original finals..while winning the power, i notice i got 112 tourney points ,then i see that the micro tourney winner gets 160,could you explain this please as ive spent over an hour on power snooker for less points than a tourney that does not even reconise a players win.

then original snooker ,argubley the hardest game on here,but my opponent gets 84 points..,there was 4 rounds in that tourney ,playing 5 games of original to win it for a measley 84 points,,while a snider micro tourney gets 160 points,,its a joke tbh,,the points system needs looked at as its very unfair on everyone who preferes playing original.power,and regular tourneys,

i have a lot of backing on this subject as a lot of the guys agree with me

at the moment its 20 points per person so naturally arcade gets more entries as its the type that 70% of this site plays.

i agree it should be changed however as ive said countless times in the past.

an idea was put speed as 20 per person, normal 40 and marathon 60.

budweiser also told me the schedule is being looked at as a lot of players wasn't very happy.

Dont enter power tournies, instead enter the micros

whats not fair about it???...all depends on how many join the tourny, just cause power is longer it dont mean u get more points.

btw u got same amount as points winning power as u do winning micro~~~i.e same amount of players.

With tim here... Arcade should get less points... It makes sense in every way

heres a sugestion..

arcade: 20 pts per player plus 50 bonus points

regular:20 points per player plus 100 bonus points

original :20 points per player plus 150 onus points

ect ect

tournapoints HAS to be in multiples of 20

Only because of the luck element and the fact anyone can clear the table...

It certainly doesn't warrant more points than the other modes tournaments.. Arcade will always have more entrys, the other modes should have more points to compensate.

We should encourage people to play the other game modes, at the moment there is little incentive.



Simply cos winning a power tournament with the same no. of entries takes 3-4 times as long. Also the standards are likely to be higher, as in Arcade every man and his dog enters. Often micros are a very easy win for someone as sad as myself.

Just abolish all points and take it back to how it used to be. Tournapoints seems to be the route of alot of problems, the solution - remove the problem
