If you are winning by more points than are left on the table and the tournament timer runs out you should progress to the next round.

no because the game is called snooker for a reason and therefore means the opponent can still win if he can snooker you

but he cant win if hes been D.Q by time wasting.

what if your on the pink and you both can win, don't forget you can run the clock down as well, those who play power will know what i mean.

If you can both win, that is a different situation to what I suggested.
But if that was happening;

Example: so scores are tied, you are shooting pink, shot timer is running down, torney is about to expire, I feel you should be allowed your shot, if you pot you get to shoot black, if you pot that you win, if you dont you loose.

What your saying is you should be allowed to finish your break even if the time has elasped. I'd go along with that for all formats.

but whats the point of time limits then? time limits are there for a reason, surely doing what top poster suggested is almost like disable automatic tournament win.

so when someone leaves it says carry on with your break until you miss (if time expires you will be Disqualified) something like that plus you have warnings in place.

the final i agree no time limits but i disagree for the other rounds, sorry.
