Hi, i have been a member of freeforums for a couple of years to run the clan league but i have seen some features that is missing here.

probably won't be implemented but ill post anyway.

Edit a post anytime - i know its 4 hours but this helps especially on clan thread (no edited at such and such time as that messes up post) to update results of games.

Themes - you can download various themes as a background (e.g. orange pumpkin theme for halloween) and can choose the background you like. current one only has 2 options but seem plain.

Signature - can make your own signature (within rules of course) which can be attached at bottom of each post so for example bluenose on pool after each clan information he posts Jay FCL Head League Runner but if that was an attachment then it would be there automatically after each post.

Most important one i saw, i was posting my views about a subject on free forums and someone wrote something before me so when i clicked Submit it said.

A post has been made when you was submitting do you wish to continue with your post.

xxx said blah blah blah

then either click Submit or Cancel

Themes - Disagree. The only reason phpBB have custom theme options is because it's a forum software package for people to use on their own websites, so customising options are crucial. This is a private forum coded I assume by Nick for Funkysnooker/pool, so there's no need to have the ability to make different themes. It'd also be very hard to implement I'd imagine. What I would like to see though, is a colour picker on the main page, so if you click a shade of grey for example, it sets the whole sites colour scheme based on that shade of grey. Very simple to do that with Javascript.

Signature - Agreed, it would be quite nice. Particularly for clan advertisement, or a summary of your profile, (best achievement, etc..)

I actually find this really annoying lol.. If it was implemented, I'd want it to be optional.

Another suggestion...
When you make a post within a certain time period of another post you've made, and there have been no posts by other members in that time period, rather than having 2 separate posts, the 2nd post would be appended to the end of your 1st post.

Which brings me onto another point of increasing the character limit. It's stupidly short at the minute.

Siganture thing is cool but if you post a lot without it being with clans then that signature would there constantly.

i agree with this.. I Dont know many times ive had to erase a full sentence to retype it due to being to long...it should be extended whats the max? 1500?
