A person I just played had a game set to 1 minute shots, he then didn't take the shot until the very last second and then only tapped a ball lightly. He was clearly hoping that I would quit the game and he would have the points awarded. Is this a new form of cheating or has it been going for a while?

Hey, it's not cheating, although it's crap.
I would recommend not joining games with a 1 minute timer.

the fact that behaviour like that isn't considered cheating is one of my biggest gripes about this site! I mean seriously... what's the point!

For a start, not all players look at the match time before they play a game, including myself, as its just natural to click yes quickly.

The guy is just trying to let other players know about this particular player, which can only be a good thing and I think players should welcome this. Having played him just (and won, in the end) I can back shadwell17 up 100% with his gripe.

Yes its not cheating, but take it as a helpful warning please

Don't name and shame, thanks.

Its not really classed as cheating, just tactics, (however poor them tactics might be).

But yeah to avoid further inconvenience in the future, avoid games with long timers
