I was thinking, why don't we have a system where persistent rule breakers (people who swear, use threatening language, make dumb forum posts etc.) get some sort of exclusion from the website? Y'know, some sort of punishment that means they can no longer sign in as a member? Also, isn't there some way we could, kind of...temporarily exclude people who are a bit naughty? Like...kick them off the website for a couple hours, if you know what I mean? I think it would really help improve behaviour on the website.

Sorry if these are terrible ideas, I know they sound a bit crazy.

generally a boot is kicking off game server for a bit but most people doesn't mind this as they can still post etc but if it was a suspension from signing in for a certain amount of time then people may act differently.

Posting rights can also be revoked for people who create pointless or abusive threads. Or for disregarding instructions to stop posting spurious/inflammatory posts.

Naming and shaming is also frowned upon.

Let's hope those people get what's coming to them. They make my blood boil, they really do.
