Basically he has found a way to hack the system and set his last log in time as 0 in UNIX time. This happened at 00:00 on Jan 1st 1970, which rounds to 43 years ago. Obviously I don't know he did this, but the 43 years makes this the most likely explanation as far as I can see.

He did say it ROUNDS to 43 years.

It says 43 years because he has been offline since 16:00 on 31/12/69, presumably a timezone difference with UTC.

If this can be done then there must be cheaters on the actual game that cheat to win or hit huge breaks consistantly

I still think it was a test by nick to see if the banning system worked or not.

Of course it's possible. The easy way is patched now because I told Nick about it but there are other ways.

Member since 06 so only 6 years, I would say the likely explanation is the fact that nick was testing the banning system.
