Arc speed, 10 sec shot
Everything was fine, i potted the white, he had ball in hand. Clock got to 0:00 and i didn't think anything of it at first as i was expecting his clock to be a few secs behind. It was only when a minute had passed that i started to notice something strange. Normally in this situation there will be a message saying *player* is not responding... That message never came. Then out of nowhere he takes his shot and play resumes as normal, i got to snookers required, it was his shot and again the clock went to 0:00, 20-30 seconds later, the 3 minute warning came up. Guess what, his shot clock stayed at 0:00 and inevitably i got a slow punishment.

Now i'm not annoyed at the fact of not progressing to the next round, what annoys me is, there was no notification saying he wasn't responding and also, you're only supposed to get 90 seconds for the connection to re-establish itself. As you can clearly see, nothing happened for well over 2 minutes. I know the game sometimes crashes but, in the 5-6 years i have been playing on this site, when the game crashes, ultimately, one person has to sacrifice a loss and leave the game. I have sat in a game of killer before when that game had crashed, we were sitting there for 20 minutes and nothing happened.
Before you say its my connection, i checked and the lowest speed it was running was 12 Mbps. Plus, when something like this happens, i run a video on youtube to test connection by loading up a video.

only says not responding after 15 secs or so could have messed with router to time out on purpose that cant be avoided but time glitch in game maybe

turning your wireless on and off can slow the clock like this.. it sometimes dont register the player not responding either.. a simple push of FN F5 on my laptop turns my wireless on and off..

Stop moaning .....It's obvious lag, You get 90 secs before getting logged out

This can occur due to problems on your opponents machine, eg their computer freezing.

But surely if i am ahead the server should recognize that snookers are required and therefore award me the win, surely?

In the scenario you described you should certainly win the frame. The person would ideally be logged out and/or lose due to their poor response time as well as requiring snookers. I have to apologize that there is no code in place to do this.
