You know it... and sorry to say it... but we need to know Nick is listening to all these ideas, not just yours James, but everyone else that's put valid suggestions forward. Unless Nick can respond formally on what his plans are with Funky, the ideas list can be as long as you like ....as it's the old saying otherwise.... the engines running but nobody is driving.... the lights are on but nobody's home etc etc

Nick, throw open a message to us.... asking for all our ideas, collectively from the Funky community... then come back to us with comments, suggestions, plans etc. Lets get some dialog going.

One reason why i won't pay premium, nothing gets done on here anymore, apart from people saying loads is going on behind the scenes. I'm sure this gets read but apart from a mobile app that hasnt been updated at all for a month or so there has been nothing.

Im going to put my point across..

Honestly why the hell has the app been made ? For months, year even.. People have made threads asking for certain things to be done on this site.. Yes i understand it may cost money.. But surely implenting a new game is less hassle than a app ?

The new app is not going to bring the game back.. or at least anywhere to its old roots. It probably never will.. but at least give it a bash of freshening this game up.. bring some life back into it.. and most of listen to the people. Hell i bet hardly anyone even plays it.

Because surely if you make a site like this.. you need to listen to peoples ideas ? its for them..

Also the admin team needs changing.. Promote a few old mods.. Budweiser.. Baff.. anyone just to get the ball rolling on the reports and other complaints..

End of the day Nick not even posting on this says it all about the state of the site.

Think of it this way, if it wasn't for us there wouldn't be a site, let alone an POINTLESS and VERY DISAPPOINTING app. Its not admin or Nick that keeps this running, its the mugs like us that have nothing better to do. No wonder people keep disappearing and not coming back, NOTHING gets changed!

From the whole funky franchise, the app is the theoretical runt of the litter... How the hell did Nick decide to make an app? I'm sure he must of been drunk, because all he needs to do is use his head and read the forums a little more and he'll see what we want. One change every 18 months or so is not enough!

We need something to keep us hooked, i don't want to think that this is the reason but i'm leaning towards it, maybe Nick is just too lazy to do anything for us... I have an idea, SELL the site and someone else will give us what we want, i'm sure there is a computer programmer among us that can give us our dancing hippos!

The clan league..

Its slowly dying.. and people cant disagree with that... Reason being because none of the admin will do anything to make the site lively again.. Hell its not just the single players its bugging, But players leaving will kill off the clan league

I can guarentee you by the end of the year unless somethings done. The population of the site will decrease massively.

I think it's very fair to say that numbers on the site have gone down dramatically, you just have to look at the numbers entering tourns to see this decline over the past 12 months. It's a shame.

I note that Admin have been mentioned a bit, but I cannot see what powers they have in making the changes we'd like to see.... only Nick can step up to this one.

Admin should be our voice to nick, putting our ideas forward to him until he listens and gives them reasons why it cant be done or letting us know he working on implementing them.

I agree there should be some protocol rather than a free for all. Maybe it would be good to see an Admin respond to this thread to share their thoughts on this subject. It'll be good to gain an insight as to how communication between Admin and Nick happens and how we know our opinions, thoughts and ideas are getting acknowledge by the powers at be. Personally, and I've said it before, we need a timeline of development goals/release dates so we know whats coming. It would be nice to see a new thread from Nick detailing this and giving regular updates to us.

There are some very valid points in here. I'll make sure admin see this so hopefully you can get some feedback.

I said it on another thread somewhere, but a great way to keep people hooked on a game is unlockables. As soon as you see locked content in a game you instinctively want to know what it is, so try to unlock it. You can also build into that more/easier unlockable features for premium and increase the site revenue.

On the app though, I think some of you aren't quite seeing it for what it is. I don't think its designed to be the new pinnacle of gaming, more a marketing tool to draw attention to the site name. I think its only failing is that it needs to plug the site more then it might start pulling people in. We could all help though. If 50 of us all rate it 5 stars and give a review saying how you played it then found this site and are hooked, that can only help kick some life in around here. I don't care if you think the app is awful, just do it to support the site and do your bit to help get it going again!

That's a great point Adam. I totally agree with everything said here. 5 years ago I joined this site and it was booming. You could sit in a ranked game and get pro by the end of the day. It was full of opponents and you actually got points for winning ranked games.

It seems everyone is bored with the same old crap different day. There is nothing to offer that can hook you in anymore. The ranking system is messed up and there is no reward for playing well anymore. To win tournapoints all you need to do is quit your job and stay online for 24 hours and the day event is yours. Where's the reward for skill?

But if you're gonna invite opposition and more frequent members you're gonna have to spread the word. I first heard of this when I was in high school, then when I dropped out of 6th form and was waiting on my apprenticeship, I had some time on my hands where I remembered the site and got hooked again. All it takes is word of mouth but many of us, like myself, is afraid to tell my mates in fear of sounding gay.

More members will answer most of the problems. It'll make a busier chat rooms for those who can't play like James, it'll offer more ranked games, busier tournaments, increase in clans and more competitiveness in the ranking tables.

Nick, the people have spoken. Time to pull ones finger out and give them what they want.

Maybe nick could do something with the clans, like offer some sort of reward for winning the clan league or a free years premium for the golden cue winners. Something could be done with the clans because James and Seb have done an amazing job running the leagues and other comps that branch off from them. I don't quite know what he could do but he needs to be more involved because as i said in another post, its people like us that pay for his luxuries.

What is it going to take to get new things added to this game? Merge with another online game to increase the the amount of members. Its really frustrating.
