I think funky needs a revamp. I understand how busy nick may be and there is no doubt ongoing work is going on. Chances of my suggestion actually being implemented are very slim. Nonetheless, I have created a document on Google Drive with my idea that I'd like to put forward. It can be viewed via this link:

I have taken the time to create my idea to present it in a easy and understandable way. I appreciate the feedback on the idea and my only objective is to suggest an improvement that doesn't affect the game play but affects the users experience when playing the game to make it more enjoyable.

Some of you may know me, some may not. Some may know that I created the smiley faces a few years back now and surprised that they are still being used today!

My idea that I have suggested, I am willing to provide help and support to nick if he was to go ahead and implement the idea.

Phil... You genius! After all of the ideas that have come and gone in the last year or two, yours is right up there with the best. I think adam_147 mentions something similar before on another post but i think most people just ignored it.

It would be rude for Nick not to at least give this some thought after you've clearly spent a decent lump of time on writing it up and presenting this to us..

I have sent a message across to nick, but he no doubt gets bombarded with messages all the time. As I said I'm willing to help out with this and I'll draw up some graphics tonight to highlight the type of unlockable content I'm looking to create.

The idea can also be crossed over to Pool as it would work over there too.

Surely a Baked Beans cue or a Yellow Table cloth or something like that. A baked bean waistcoat. lol.

For Xbox achievements each achievement has a image. We could have a similar idea here but have waistcoats that you can collect instead and have an achievements tab on your profile.

Instead of unlocking a new cue for every single achievement, Maybe have it when you complete 5 achievements for example. So at certain milestones.

I actually like the idea to be honest.

I have one concern though (can't remember if it was mentioned in your idea on the google drive). Unlocking a cue/design would then rule out the premium membership of players who have bought it, would that not come under as unfair on the ones that spent some money for the premium and ultimately the cues.

I am not a premium member on here but i am on pool.

Yeah I mentioned it briefly. I wouldn't want to take away the exclusivity of owning a custom cue from the premium members. I mentioned that premium members should still have a cue that general members cannot get and suggested maybe a golden cue.

Maybe premium members could be given the option to unlock 5 cue designs of their choice regardless of gaining the achievement for them. Or some other sort of benefit for being premium.

Obviously some sort of agreement would need to be put in place to encourage people to sign up to premium and also so those with active premium don't feel short changed.

Just read the link and it sounds interesting i also have thought of this idea in the past but never really put it forward to the extent tat you have mate, another achievement is spending a certain amount of time playing a game, that gets more people involved in the game and gets people playing for longer, cos lets face it funky is going downhill nowdays, alot of the people i used to speak to have left, and i cant even get enough players to fill a clan lol.

Im not sure whether this will really improve funky but these are defenitely refreshing, interesting and well worked out ideas that deserve to be considered.
I wish Nick responded to the ideas on this forum so that we would all know if, how and when they would be introduced in funkysnooker. Right now we don't know if Nick has even responded at all by a private message.
Shame though that lfc_lad has been offline for a month himself.
