it would be good if when u play u could know what is remaining on table so u don't have to count up on ur own how many points ur behind if u need snookers etc

true but real snooker players have to do calculations themselves as well. What i do is if 3 reds are left i know its 51 so i take it from there

Just think of it as improving your numeracy skills

27 for colours. For every red left on table maximum 8 extra points available. Just add on a extra 8 to the 27 to work it out.

As long as 3 reds are left on the table, There is the possibility of getting a half but you have to get 2 blacks and 1 pink minimum to get at least 50.
