Now, we dont have webcam enabled, the game is silent except game warnings, balls hitting balls etc.... so.....

What about sounds, pre-loaded sounds we can select and play to the other player?

Like, you can click 'Nice!' and it will speak that word to the other player etc, some more examples:

'Jamming git!'
'Now way!'
'Good Game'
'Good Luck'
'OMG'
'Great Shot'
'Sorry, GTG, your too good!'
'Wowza'
'Fluke!'

etc etc

Good idea but preloaded sounds would get annoying just like the sound of the balls do.

But make your own sounds and send them would be even better

Someone suggested background music not long ago which seems more realistic because it has been adopted on other pool sites. It could put some "funk" into "funky".. although saying that most members would probably just prefer to listen to their own music, (like me)

I think the main issue with being able to record your own clips would be how it could be moderated. I can't see a way of doing it.

Maybe 5 sounds per member Unless you own premium then you get 10. or this could just be a premium feature would probably get a few buying premium just to mess about with sounds..lol

No no.... recording your own voices is a no-no lol.... can only imagine what'll be said However, a pre-defined list, would just add a little humour to the game, something relatively straight forward to implement and would mean less typing As for the voice, well I'm sure nick could do this.... but of course, some may choose to select a female verion

But whilst typing this.... I'm plagued with the normal thought.... just another idea and this forum is as far as it'll go.

Predefined text options would probably work much better. Playing sound clips may get distracting, unless there was an option to turn them off. Imagine having to pot the black for a 107 or 147 and the opponent is playing all sorts of sound clips through your speakers to try and put you off.

Pre defined text options would work, so you could press 1 on the keyboard and this could type GG. press 2 for WP and so on. Although it doesn't take much time to type these things anyway.

I don't think its something that is important to the game and probably isn't really needed if honest.
