A recent Java update (Java 7 version 21) changed the default security settings and asked all Java developers to release their code signed using a digital certificate. This basically means that checks are made that the code was created by me, and has not been tampered with before it reaches your machine. The certificate is signed with my name.
Currently it is not enabled by default until I get more feedback. You can enable it via: http://www.funkysnooker.com/help#java_security and click signed. I would appreciate as much feedback as possible. Other than the code being signed there should be no changes (the game still runs in the limited Java sandbox and the game play should be identical). One advantage is that the certificate can be optionally accepted and no more security dialogs are shown.
In addition to this change there's a few small changes. The forum seach page formatting has been fixed, and other forum pages should load a bit faster. Premium subscription reminders weren't working but should be fixed again now. Power snooker restart should be fixed too.

IE won't let me online, it comes up with activate Java (Let me on last night). Opera is fine and Java works fine.
When i went on playing problems:

Are you sure you don't have IE 9 or IE 10?
Please look on here:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/which-version-am-i-using
If you are using IE 9 or IE 10 please check this article:
http://www.ghacks.net/2011/02/16/internet-explorer-9-activex-filtering-fix-flash-java-and-other-plugins/
Basically the security setting changed and now disabled Java by default (even if you installed and enabled it!), and you must either:
- Add funkysnooker.com to the trusted sites
- Disable ActiveX filtering
I will update the help page with this information.

You're using Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 8 and Windows RT
thats first page that appears however i saw this too:
Not all versions of Internet Explorer are available for every version of Windows. For example, Internet Explorer 10 can't be installed on Windows Vista or Windows XP.
I did try and download IE9 many months ago but wouldn't let me.
No matter what i try and do when i press Play this appears in pic below
Javascript page also said Internet Explorer cannot open page, Operation Aborted when i disabled Active X
I'll stick to Opera for now until i can sort it

Ah, so it is a problem with the Javascript. Can you try a full refresh?
That browser detection page appears to be not working, can you try this one?
http://thismachine.info/
By the way IE6 isn't supported any more so Opera or any other recent browser is probably the way forward.
