How do you prepare on the morning of a tournament/match ?

'Well most of my tournaments start around 10am, so i usually go to bed a bit earlier, then get up around 7am, go for a run have a bit of breakfast and a shower and listen to some music, worked for years

Why running ?

'Keeping in physically good shape helps with the mentality side of the game, especially with the long hot and stuffy days in the club.

Over the years you have been described as Hard on yourself and your biggest weakness is yourself would you agree ?

'100 per cent, The last two years the reason ive struggled is myself, this year ive had a whole new preperation with getting into more physical shape and keeping myself to myself and having my cards to my chest closely, i dont give any indication of emotion in games.

How do you feel during a loss in a tournament ?

'Asked me this a year ago and i'd end this interview, Now i just use it as a influence to improve harder and faster for next time, what are you going to get out of holding on to a loss ? nothing. Always better to live and forget, anythings possible in snooker.'
