Hear me out.. When this first got put into the game, There was a few people saying the only people that win the medals are the ones who play the most or just play arcade.

The past year i feel less players are about and all you need to do to guarentee a medal win is playing all day and racking up enough points by losing in semi finals/finals, and to me their is no value in it being here anymore. My opinion.

i know i havent been around much this year but when it first got brought into the game nearly everyone wanted to win but this past year it has lost its appeal to me but cant figure out why.

to bring back the novelty my suggestion would be a monthly tournie (like Pool) where a special award is awarded to the winner, less tournaments and maybe in future (but doubt it would happen), a new game mode (still need something on the Original Table to balance it out )

I think their is to many tournaments.

How about cutting some of the Arcade, and instead of doing a Arcade micro every hour, replace them like they did in pool, with one hour being Arcade, then reg, orig et etc, it may tempt to people into trying these new types and making more overall better players.

Also need a way to equal the points out in all comps to the amount arcade has.

The only people that sit there winning medals are simply, the people who have no lives

its only a game i play it cos i like it and only play when i ave time. i think your rite about the micros would be nice 2 ave a few more formats

We need more power tournaments and more carom tournaments. Drop the micro arcade tournies.

If it happens that I have the time and play a couple of tourneys, and see oh I have 500 points or whatever, I might go for it but I don't really set out to win points at all. Having said that they might not be pointless for everybody

I used to go for it all the time with tourn points, but nowadays I can't be bothered and you know what I don't really care about rank or tourn points, just enjoy the game win or lose

And as rossunited said, everyone has their own agendas.... I think when you've been and done it, like Cam and the rest, well, what else is to prove, just enjoy the banter and the fun it brings.

Dont remind me stormforce of the times when i sat here all day all night every day and all week playing this, its a killer thought inside haha

Haha I know. But we musn't forget this game is like a conveyor belt... people drop off and people jump on, so whatever we may think, there are always other that like the idea of ranks, tournapoints etc.... until that day comes for them, when they jump off too....

i used to go for it alot also but these last few months i just find this game boring and have nothing to do i dont care about my ranks or any tournys anymore i just play for the fun and most of that these days just doesnt happen when people play u and have a go at u when u win, just makes the game less likeable

There are far too many tournaments there is no real justification in a tournament win any more, bring back the days where there was three a day or so, meant far more to win one back then, then it does now.

Ive won 3 of the 5 arcade tournaments today, and that landed me 1300 points.. which is a decent amount but its rare as today we had 39 odd in the 7pm one.

Years ago i would of got double that, i remember when me and Tinie were both on 2500 odd and went into the last one of the night.

Were talking near 5000 points between the top two players on the day.. Now you wont get near 5000 adding the whole top 50 up.

i set myself a personal challenge of getting all 3 medals, now I have them, it doesn't have the same appeal as it used to

They didnt appeal to me before i won all three of them on a old account, cant remember which one as ive had about 100 accounts since ive been on this site.

Now a days i play because i like the game, if i win anything its a bonus
