I noticed more and more people having a break off shot which smashes the reds everywhere and pots a red every time, I don't mean usually, I mean every single time!
I know this was meant to be made more difficult by the reds being slightly randomised within the triangle each rack, however its just not working.
It takes the competition aspect out of the game if a half decent player can get a 50+ break every time they break to win the frame. And those of us who value our time more than trying to figure out how to do it and would rather play competitive frames are losing out.
maybe slightly increase the amount the rack alters each time which may stop such breaks working every time and make people actually work for their win rather than having it on a plate.
just a thought

Firstly I suspect most people are using the same break, which is a very good one. But even if you pot a red it's never a guarantee to be on a colour so there is always an element of risk and if it doesn't pot it hands the frame to the opponent on a plate. I don't know of anyone who pots every single time.

I understand your point, however its not what I have experienced over the last few days. there was no element of risk attached as all potted reds and all were left with a choice of colour (and even if there isn't a colour available there is always the option for a safety which still puts you at an advantage)
what you are essentially saying is i need to spend a couple of hours figuring out how they break so I too can take the competitive side out of every frame I start?

Nope, just ask someone how to do it! I'm guessing it's people putting the white right next to the green and hitting second red along?

Its just personal preference mate. I mean I personally hate it when my opponent taps the break, id rather take the risk with a smash break and open the game up. I know others agree with me, but equally others disagree - just personal opinion

even if the rack was changed people would experiment and do the same as it is now.
i invented the smash break with spin on Original so experiment by placing the white or cursor in different places and you will do a destiny of potting each time
Youtube is a good idea if you want to learn

As long as someone makes an effort to get back to baulk I don't mind, but people who play off two cushions to the pack drive me round the bend. Smash break can be annoying at times too though, I generally play thin off the pack with side to get behind the green and brown

In arc thats more difficult but i recorded it once so it can be done. Orig is the easiest to snooker off the break

In arc I play off two cushions and three in reg and orig. Arc is definitely most difficult to make (only 4 or 5 out of 10), but as you say orig is easiest
