First frame I missed a double on the pink for the frame but put it onto the jaw. Second frame I managed to win with a half. He cleared in the next two fairly convincingly after I missed silly shots. He fluked a ball and cleared in the fifth. Managed to scrap the last (just) to save some face.

Sorry guys, probably shouldn't have arranged the match and let it go to default as I wasn't really in a situation to play it properly but got the better of myself.

Awful frames, we were both really really crap. That being said, James was ever so slightly less crap and managed to win it

After a very messy set, we've somehow ended up with only one default, mainly because roughly 20 of the 57 games were played in the final hours.

I would highly recommend that people dont leave it to the very last day to complete games! When we do defaults, we often get complaints about receiving very few points from them. If you leave games to the last minute and then encounter complications (, thats your fault and you will get very few points.

There were some positives though- only one of the killer games needed to be played on the last day!

Please remember to post results along with breaks on the results thread, otherwise they dont get updated!

Finally, tonight is the deadline for round 1 of the Players Championship. If your game is unplayed and you want to go into the next round, you must post to show interest. Otherwise, you will be defaulted out, even if your opponent has been offline a month!
