1. They should incorporate nominate colour, so if you're snookered, you can't hit & hope.

2. Shouldn't be able to put screw back on if you're up against a cushion or in front of another ball. Top spin should automatically be applied. The slight bit further away the white is from either of those, the slight bit more screw allowed. Till you're adequate length away to allow full screw. Also, when people I've seen on here have played bad positional shots and end up on the cushion, I've thought to myself at times, if forced top spin was on there then it might change the way the frame goes. One thing is though, if you're up against a cushion or ball, the hard thing here might be, programming wise, is if you weren't playing over the ball or cushion, you were playing to the side, then you could in real life screw then, it would be implementing that on top I suppose.

3. Free ball if you're snookered, using the same method of selecting the ball as the one used to nominate the colour ball on a shot.

4. Display potting success percentages at the top of the screen.

5. Stats - Display a stats card after each frame. Showing the highest break that frame and by whom, if you've played before and how many times each of you has won etc, and pot success percentages etc

6. On your profile, I'd like to see the high break displayed as a sequence of balls in 2 modes, 1) in the order you potted them 2) Red Yellow Green Brown Blue Pink Black with numbers of how many you potted inside.

The only thing is with number 5 is, I'd be interested in reading this after a frame but you're opponent might want to just get on with his/her frame and it would hold people up.

The best way to improve the game is to stop re-setting as I think this is the biggest 'spoiler'

A close second is the that the number of ppl who don't play in the spirit of the game - actually trying to get out of snookers etc

After 5 years I'm playing less and less now and don't take it seriously anymore - it just aint wot it used to be.

What d'ya mean by resetting?

On your profile under edit profile you will see a note saying reset stats. If you click on this it will wipe all your game stats back to zero as in no games have been played!

I'd love free ball. You wouldn't even need to nominate a colour, you could just be allowed to go for any colour, just like normal. Only problem is, how would the game know that you're snookered from the reds?

Can't be done i don't think, i would love for it to come in but even if it was possible, i lost hope a year or two ago with ideas (i got many but waste of a thread), but with nick busy with work he has no time to update anymore so i just stop posting ideas

Yeah free ball would be difficult, maybe too difficult. I just thought, using some scientific programming method/strategy, there would be a way that you could program the game to know it can't see any reds but a big feat I suppose yeah.

I forgot another thing I'd like as well, TOILET BREAK! haha! I would like one 30 second toilet break per frame, agreed by both players. So at the bottom (where you type) it would say for instance:- cuemastersi requires a 30 second toilet break..in fact no, not at the bottom, on the screen at the top flashing maybe, but you can only do this once per frame, so knob heads can't keep constantly doing it to put you off. And with a Y or N box to click.

Yes Fragmented, resetting isn't right. People resetting there stats when they've been playing years. I haven't done that, and wouldn't dream of it. One thing that's just come to me is, you should have to nominate the colour you go for, so when you're on the colour a selection of coloured balls yellow to black appears at the top for you to click/pick/select, and you click one, you can reselect one before you take you shot too if you change your mind. Also, for quickness, yellow could be selected alternatively by pressing F2 perhaps, green F3 up to black F7.

Also, don't know why the usernames are restricted to 12 character spaces either. Should be say 16, there's plenty of room at the top of the screen to fit to 16 character space usernames in there. My mate wanted to use GreenBaizeGary but couldn't cause it's 14. Stupid.

Selecting the colour would stop chancers who play crap positional shots and are snookered doing a hit and hope on a colour. Must admit, helped me out in the past but still, make the game more strategic and professional.

I have loads of ideas personally. Action Replay also springs to mind. Maybe a button you could press after a good shot and it saves the shot in memory and the action replays can be personal to you to play after your match as not to distract players who don't want to see them for instance. You could also then have a top 10 best shots league using them which could be sent to funkysnooker and be judged by someone, or simply have a voting system, and people could watch all the great shots on the Action Replay page. Awesome!

Most of these ideas have been mentioned and discussed in length before and for the majority it's been explained why under the current system it isn't possible. Please use the search feature before posting things that have been discussed many times before.

On a more serious note... you can do a toilet run in 30 seconds???

I could do a toilet run yeah in 30 seconds, along with the 20 seconds for the shot. I have done it before in the 20 second slot with the 20 seconds I have as well and the couple of shots the player did, which would have made it about a minute. I'm talking a pee here lol! I will undo my trousers whilst playing and my toilet is only at the back of the bedroom, so then as soon as the players shot comes, I dash off, go quickly and provided he/she did a couple of shots I've made it back in time, just haha!

You mean you haven't built an elaborate tube system to your toilet to enable unlimited game play? amateur

People shouldn't even waste their time putting ideas through knowing the owner of this site couldn't care less about it and won't use any of his time to change it.

Thats the point i was trying to make although it sounds harsh when you read it, i agree but just like most of the Universe people have jobs which limits their time on here.

Biggest way forward would be Funky on phones (hopefully not just iphone or android), if i remember nick said its 70% completed
